Long time ago, in early days,
technicians thought that their ideas will be safe,
their view was very starry eyed.
Some peoples dream's humanity with equal rights.
Instead of work we’d get more leisure time.
One hundred years - the world will turn to paradise.

Today we think we are more bright,
we’ve been advancing and our failures 're only slight.
Experts invent what we don’t need, fly to the moon, don't see the grief
in third worlds countries and won’t stop our greed.
Tell me, why've we lost our instinct to survive?
Why do we concentrate on things which take our lives?

Discoveries that now are useful-
lead to destruction - will be progressive.
Without any doubt we do get along
into false directions - we’ll be progressive.
Every little step's anytime to regret
because evolution - will be aggressive.
No matter what happens, world keeps on turning
even without us - don’t get depressive!

A new millennium’s coming soon,
this magic date won’t start era of bloom:
Standard of living will decrease - we might suffer from unknown disease.
For all that we are not able to perceive.
Genetic engineering can’t avoid this fate.
We could have changed our way of life - now it’s too late ...
